MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> June 24, 1974 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Edward Kinney called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br /> order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmen Herlihy, Philcox, and Mayor Pro Tem Kinney were present. Councilwoman <br /> LeClaire and Mayor Mori were absent~ Mr~ Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City <br /> Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Assistant City Manager/Director o£ Public Works, Mr. Bowl- <br /> ing, Director of Housing and Community Development, Mro Sooby, Director of Engi- <br /> neering Services, Mro Miller and Mr~ Walker, Assistants to the City Manager, were <br /> present. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Philcox, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for June 10, 1974. <br /> <br /> b. Approval of Holding Tank Agreement with Jack Bras <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Philcox, and Mayor Pro Tem Kinney <br /> NOES: None <br />' ABSENT: Councilwoman LeClaire and Mayor Mori <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> An ordinance extending for a one (1) year period "S" (Study) District on property <br /> located in Zoning Maps 133 and 134 (Mission Park and qualified Investors) pursuant <br /> to Section 65858 of the Government Code <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Kinney declared this public hearing continued open to the meeting <br /> of July 8, 1974, at 8:00 P.M., in the Justice Court. <br /> <br /> Application of the Planning Commission for an amendment to the General Plan of the <br /> City of Pleasanton for that area bounded by Stanley Blvd. on the North~ Main Street <br /> on the. Ne~.t~ the Arroyo del Valle o~ ~he Sout__h.~ and the City Limits on the East <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Kinney declared this public hearing continued open to the meeting <br /> of October 14, 1974, at 8:00 P.M., in the Justice Court. <br /> <br /> MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> Adoption of Ordinance No. 729~ to rezone from the A (Agricultural) to the I-P <br /> (Industrial Park) or I-G (General Industrial) District approx. 11.1 acres of <br /> land located immediately. east of the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks and approx. <br /> 680 feet northwest of the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Mohr Avenue <br /> (Patrick Gill) (Introduced 6-10-74 by 4-1 vote) <br /> Mr. Edgar stated this ordinance was introduced on June 10, 1974, be a 4-1 vote <br /> and that it was now in order to adopt the ordinance° <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Philcox, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that <br /> Ordinance Noo 729, to rezone from the A (Agricultural) to the I-P (Industrial <br /> Park) District approx~ 11ol acres of land located immediately east of the Southern <br /> Pacific Railroad tracks and approx. 680 feet northwest of the intersection of <br /> Oakland Avenue and Mohr Avenue (Patrick Gill), be adopted, <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Philcox, and Mayor Pro Tem Kinney <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilwoman LeClaire and Mayor Mori <br /> <br /> <br />
