<br />CALL TO ORDER
<br /> Mayor Robert Philcox called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order
<br />at 5:00 P.M.
<br />
<br />ROLL CALL
<br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows:
<br />Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox were present.
<br />Mr. Brown, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, and Mr. Campbell, Director of
<br />Public Works and Utilities, were present.

<br />AGENDAAMENDHENTS
<br /> Mr. Brown requested that item 6 - Comments from Retiring Councilmembers, be
<br />heard after item 4a.
<br />
<br /> Mayor Philcox presented a cake to Councilmember Brandes, honoring him on his
<br />birthday this date.
<br />
<br />SPECIALREPORTS
<br />Canvass of Ballots and Confirmation of Election Results
<br /> Mr. Brown presented a resolution regarding this matter.
<br />
<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember LeClaire,
<br />that Resolution No. 78-56, declaring the following results of the Municipal Elec-
<br />tion held on March 7, 1978:
<br />
<br />Notice of election was duly given, election officers appointed, supplies furnished
<br />and all other requirements for General Law cities complied with.
<br />
<br />Thirty-three (33) voting Precincts were established as follows: 52010, 52020,
<br />52021, 52022, 52023, 52024, 52030, 52040, 52050, 52060, 52070, 52081, 52083, 52100,
<br />52110, 52120, 52130, 52200, 52210, 52211, 52220, 52230, 52240, 52250, 52300, 52310,
<br />52320, 52330, 52340, 52350, 52360, 52370, 52371, and Absentee.
<br />
<br />The total number of ballots voted for City Council candidates was 3,273, as follows:
