2 o 1 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 15, 1980 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Vice Mayor Kenneth Mercer called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />to order at 6:00 P.M., and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as' follows: <br />Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Vice Mayor Mercer were present. Mayor <br />Brandes was absent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, and Mr. Levine, City Attorney, were <br />present. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br />Canvass of Ballots and Confirmation of Election Results <br /> Vice Mayor Mercer presented a resolution confirming the results of the election <br />of April 8, 1980. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />Resolution No. 80-83, declaring the following results of the Municipal Election held <br />on April 8, 1980: <br /> <br />Notice of election was duly given, election officers appointed, supplies furnished <br />and all other requirements for general law cities complied with. <br /> <br />Twenty-two (22) voting precincts were established as follows: 52010, 52020, 52022, <br />52023, 52030, 52050, 52060, 52070, 52081, 52083, 52084, 52110, 52120, 52200, 52210, <br />52211, 52240, 52311, 52320, 52330, 52360, 52371. <br /> <br />The total number of votes cast for City Council candidates was 14,800, as follows: <br /> <br /> KARIN KENNETH R.
