\ <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> February 10, 1981 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Kenneth Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. <br /> Walker, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public <br /> Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, <br /> and Mrs. Bengtson, Director of Recreation and Human Resources, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that an itembe added to the agenda as item 12g - Adjust- <br /> ments to LAVWMA Fixed Cost Percentages and Flows. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion <br /> of this meeting to discuss pending litigation. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br /> the following items' listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 1-27-81. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim February 22-28, 1981, as National Engineers' Week in Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 958, amending Article 18, Chapter 2, Title II of the <br /> Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton regarding temporary and political signs <br /> by adding Article 18.5, and repealing existing regulations. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 959, extending Residential Allocation Program approvals <br /> slated to lapse on or before July 22, 1981, for twelve months. <br /> <br /> e. Accept by motion, the Audit of Financial Transactions for Fiscal Year 1979-80. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 81-21, approving Plans and Specifications and Auth- <br /> orization to Call for 'Bids, Re: Improvements to Senior Citizens Center. <br /> <br />g. Adoption of Resolution No. 81-22, accepting a QuitclaimDeed from John Jr., and <br /> Joan M. Caroline for a Storm Drainage Easement, and authorizing the City Manager <br /> to present to and file with the recorder of Alameda County, California, said <br /> instrument on documents described above; and to execute in behalf of the City, <br /> the certificate of acceptance to permit said documents to be recorded. <br /> <br />h. Adoption of Resolution No. 81-23, accepting a Grant Deed from Crocker Homes, <br /> Inc., described as Parcel "C" of Tract 4551, for park purposes, and authorizing <br /> the City }~nager to present to and file with the recorder of Alameda County, <br /> California, said instruments or documents of conveyance described above where <br /> <br /> <br />
