187 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> July 27, 1982 <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> The Mayor and Councilmembers met at 7:30 P.M., in Executive Session to discuss <br /> pending litigation. <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Robert Butler called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Mercer, Mohr,Wood, and Mayor Butler were present. Councilmember <br />Brandes was absent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. <br />Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Glenn, Assistant Planner, and <br />Mrs. Wagner, Director of Finance, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker advised that there had been a minor modification to the language of <br /> the agreements on item 4g - Approval of Improvement Plans and Subdivision Agreement <br /> for Parcel Map 3858, Hacienda Business Park. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion <br /> of this meeting to discuss pending litigation and labor relations. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that the <br /> following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for July 13, 1982. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1043, approving the application of the City of <br /> Pleasanton to rezone approximately 7.1 acres of land located at the northern <br /> terminus of Pleasanton Avenue from the C-S (Commercial Service) and R-1-6500 <br /> (Single-family Residential) Districts to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br /> High Density Residential District. <br /> <br />c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1044, approving the application of Reynolds and Brown <br /> for a modification to PUD-82-01 and PUD-80-14, Pleasanton Park, involving an <br /> alteration to the primary access and circulation pattern of an approximately <br /> 56 acre business park located near the southwest quadrant of the intersection <br /> of 1-580 and Hopyard Road. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-259, after review of bids, awarding the contract <br /> for slurry sealing on various City streets, Project No. 82-12, to McReynolds <br /> Paving, Inc., in the amount of $30,000, for a total of 773,200 sq. ft. of pav- <br /> ing, and authorizing the appropriate City officials to execute the contract. <br /> <br />e. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-260, after review of bids, awarding the contract <br /> for the improvement of downtown water lines, Project No. 82-2, to L. J. Krzich <br /> Pipeline, in the amount of $57,436.00, and authorizing the appropriate City <br /> officials to execute the contract. <br /> <br /> <br />
