MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> July 10, 1984 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order <br /> at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Acting Secretary Karyn Hilton called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. <br /> Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Swift, Assistant City Attor- <br /> ney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of <br /> Planning and Community Development, Mr. Stewart, Chief Building Inspector, and Mr. <br /> 0kamura, Assistant City Engineer, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following items be added to the agenda: <br /> <br /> item 4n - Adoption of Resolution Establishing Certain Policies for the November 6, 1984 <br /> Municipal Election. <br /> <br /> item 12d- Extension of Agreement with Homestead Development Company Affordable Housing <br /> Program. <br /> <br />-- item !2e- Approval of Final Map - Tract 5297, Pleasanton Villages II, Homestead <br /> Development Company. <br /> <br /> item 12f- Modification to PUD Application for Valley Avenue Grade Separation. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 12b - Preliminary Study of Pedestrian Access to <br /> Foothill High School, be continued to the meeting of July 24, 1984, at the request <br /> of staff. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion of <br /> this meeting to discuss pending litigation, personnel, and labor relations. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised that item 13 a - Maintenance Agreement with Valley Business <br /> Park Owners Association (continued from 6-26-84) was the second listing for this <br /> item on the agenda and should be removed; it should be considered as item 4e under <br /> the Consent Calendar. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmen~ber Mohr, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 6-26-84. <br /> <br /> b. Proclaim August 25, 1984, as City of Pleasanton Day honoring Donna Seavet. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-334, supporting a National Cemetery at Camp Parks. <br /> <br /> <br />
