MINUTES <br /> of <br /> TNE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> June 26, 1984 <br /> <br /> ?:30 P.M. - Mayor Mercer and members of the City Council met in Executive Session to <br /> discuss pending litigation and personnel matters. <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order <br /> at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. <br />Walker, City Managers Mr. Swift, Assistant City Attorney, Mr. Warnicks Director of <br />Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Develop- <br />ment, Mrs. Wagner, Director of Finance, Mr. Stewart, Chief Building Inspectors and <br />Mr. Lee, Planning Consultant, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following items be added to the agenda: <br /> <br /> item 4s - Resolution Releasing Lands Within Parcel Map 2293 from Further Road <br /> Improvement Obligations. <br /> <br /> item 4t - Approval of Tract Map 5168 - Condominium Conversion at 4359 Fairlands <br /> Drive. <br /> <br /> item 12j- Approval of Memorandum of Understanding with Police Officers and Sergeants. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 13a - Maintenance Agreement with Valley Business <br />Park Owners Awsociations be continued to the meeting of July 10, 1984, at the re- <br />quest of staff. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer requested that item 4s - Resolution Releasing Lands Within Parcel <br />Map 2293 from Further Road Improvement Obligations, be removed from the Consent <br />Calendar and placed as item !2k on the agenda, for discussion. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer recommended that item 13b - Mobile Home Park Inspection Responsi- <br />bility, be considered after public hearings on the agenda, because of the large number <br />of people in the audience to discuss this item. Council concurred. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 6-12-84. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim July 8-14, 1984, as CRIL Awareness Week. <br /> <br />c. Proclaim July as Defensive Driving Month-. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-304, accepting public improvements for Tract 4936, <br /> Pleasanton Commons - Ponderosa Homes. <br /> <br /> <br />
