MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> February 28, 1984 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Robert Butler called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler were present. Mr. <br /> Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public <br /> Works and Utilities, and Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, <br /> were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that an item be added to the Consent Calendar as item 4x - <br /> Agreement with Alameda County to Extend Pleasanton Library Hours. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following three items be removed from the Consent <br /> Calendar and dismissed from this agenda: <br /> <br /> item 4r - Agreement with CDM - Water System Improvements along Foothill Road, Phase II. <br /> item 4s - Agreement with CDM - Telemetry and Control System. <br /> <br /> item 4t - First Amendment to July 12, 1983 Agreement with CDM - Foothill Reservoir <br /> Design (Phase II). <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion of <br /> this meeting to discuss labor relations and pending litigation. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that the <br /> following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 2-14-84. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim March 17, 1984, as Dr. Arthur Barnes Night. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-81, approving claims for the month of January, 1984, <br /> in the amount of $7,162,681.17. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-82, prohibiting parking on Johnson Court on both <br /> sides of the street for vehicles over 20 feet in length. <br /> <br />e. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-83, accepting Grant Easement from Mark E. and Joyce <br /> E. Andersen on Foothill Road. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-84, accepting improvements, Project No. 83-11, Kot- <br /> tinger Drive and Kottinger Park storm drain improvements; authorizing filing of <br /> Notice of Completion; and authorizing final payment to contractor R. Flatland in <br /> the amount of $16,785.93. <br /> <br /> <br />
