239 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> June 17, 1985 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Special Meeting of the City Council to order <br /> at 7:30 P.M., with the Pleasanton Housing Authority at the Kottinger Place project. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> The roll call is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wood, and <br /> Mayor Mercer were present. Councilmember Butler was absent. Mr. Walker, City <br /> Manager, and Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, were present. Others present were <br /> members of the Pleasanton Housing Authority Board and staff, and residents of <br /> Kottinger Place. <br /> <br /> CONSIDERATION OF PLEASANTON HOUSING AUTHORITY REORGANIZATION <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that the purpose of the meeting was to listen to concerns <br /> that Kottinger Place residents have regarding the possibility of change from the <br /> current structure of the Pleasanton Housing Authority. He stated that a similar <br /> meeting will be held at the Arroyo Vista project on June 19, 1985. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer explained that the reason the questions have come up relative to <br /> the Pleasanton Housing Authority was thst Dublin had become a City and that the <br /> Dublin City Council had asked Pleasanton to consider restructuring the Pleasanton <br /> Housing Authority since Arroyo Vista is in Dublin. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer said the purpose of the meeting was to receive input from the <br /> Kottinger Place residents and that no decision would be made at this meeting. <br /> The meeting was opened to discussion. <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Mayor Mercer adjourned the meeting at 9:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> WALKER, CITY CEERK <br />/ <br /> <br /> <br />
