<br />.391 <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br />'\"f <br />LD <br />W <br />CD <br /><( <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />of <br />THE MEETING <br />of <br />THE C ITV COUNC I L <br /> <br />MAY 7, 1985 <br /> <br />7:15 P.M. - INTERVIEWS FOR PLANNING COMMISSIONER AND ALTERNATE PLANNING <br />COMMISSIONER <br />Mayor Mercer and members of the Council met at 7:15 p.m. to interview the <br />following candidates for consideration as member and alternate member on the <br />Planning Commission, due to the expiring terms of Gregg Doherty and Joyce <br />Getty: <br /> <br />Joyce Getty <br />Brian W. Hoyt <br />Sharrell Michelotti <br />Ben Tarver <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALLL <br />Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as fol- <br />lows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer were present. <br />Councilmember Wood was absent. Mrs. Wagner, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Mac- <br />Donald, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities, <br />Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, and Mrs. Bengtson, <br />Director of Parks and Community Services, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br />Mrs. Wagner presented minor modifications to item 4n - Approve acquisition <br />Moller Property for Foothill Reservoir site, and item 4q - Approval of Change <br />Order for Railroad Consolidation Project. <br /> <br />Mrs. Wagner requested that an item be added to the Consent Caendar as item <br />411 - Agreement to Provide Additional System Discharge Services Between East <br />Bay Dischargers Authority (EBDA) and Livermore Amador Valley Water Management <br />Agency (LAVWMA). <br /> <br />Councilmember Butler requested that item lOa - Report from the Library <br />Committee, be moved on the agenda to be considered before Public Hearings. <br />Council concurred. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />It was moved by Council member Brandes, and seconded by Councilmernber But- <br />ler, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended <br />thereto, be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 4-16-85. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim May 26-June 1, 1985 as Pleasanton Child Safety Awareness Week. <br /> <br />- 1 - <br /> <br />5-7-85 <br />
