MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> September 3, 1985 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council <br /> to order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Alternate Lillian Akin called the role which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. <br />--Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Swift, Director <br /> Df Planning and Community Development, and Mr. Okamura, Acting Director of <br /> 7ublic Works and Utilities, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that two items be added to the agenda as follows: <br /> <br /> Item 4Y - Resolution in Memory of Gene Angle <br /> <br /> Item 4Z - First Amendment to the Mozart Amended Development Deferment <br /> Agreement <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at this meeting <br /> to discuss the Worker's Compensation case of Robert Shaw and the Valley <br /> Avenue Extension Application to the Public Utilities Commission. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember <br /> Mohr, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended <br /> thereto, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 8-20-85. <br /> <br /> b. Proclamation of October as Make-A-Wish Month. <br /> <br /> =. Proclamation of September 17-23, 1985, as Constitution Week. <br /> <br /> Adoption of Resolution No. 85-407, approval of Indemnity and Hold <br /> Harmless Agreement: Motorcyle Training <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Resolution No. 85-408, approval of the Chamber of <br /> Commerce's 1985 Heritage Days Parade Application; require the parade <br /> sponsor to comply with all conditions outlined; and amend the 1985/86 <br /> City budget to include the $665.00 in estimated City costs. <br /> <br /> 9-3-85 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
