MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY.COUNCIL <br /> <br /> August 6, 1985 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Vice Mayor Frank C. Brandes, Jr., called the Regular Meeting of the City <br /> Council to order at 8:00'p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the <br /> flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as fol- <br /> lows: Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes were present. Coun-. <br />--- cilmember Butler and Mayor Mercer were absent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. <br /> Swift, Acting Director of Planning and Community Development. Mr. Okamura, <br /> Acting Director of Public Works and Utilities, and Mrs. Bengtson, Director of <br /> Parks and Community Services, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that an item be added to the Consent Calendar as item <br /> 4u Acceptance of a Public Storm Drain System for the Pleasanton Station As- <br /> sociates' Development on First Street between Bernal Avenue and West Angela <br /> Street. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclu- <br /> sion of this meeting to discuss litigation Ralls vs. Eastman. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br /> that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, <br /> be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 7-16-85. <br /> <br /> b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1209, amending Ordinance No. 1176 regarding ef- <br /> fective date of City Council salary increase. <br /> <br />--- c. Adoption of Resolution No. 85-359, approving Claims for the month of June, <br /> 1985, in the amount of $2,434,570.48. <br /> <br /> d. Introduction of Ordinance No. 1210, to be read by title only and waiving <br /> further reading thereof, anlending various traffic provisions of the Or- <br /> dinance Code of the City of Pleasanton regarding vehicle operation and <br /> parking. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Resolution No. 85-360, approving the Amador Valley Athletic <br /> Club Heritage Days Run application scheduled for September 15, 1985, <br /> requiring Amador Valley Athletic Club to comply with all conditions listed <br /> in Section III of Staff Report 85:367, and amending the 1985/86 City bud- <br /> get to include the expected police overtime costs of $410.00. <br /> <br /> 1 8-6-85 <br /> <br /> <br />
