217 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of - <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> October 28, 1986 <br /> <br /> INTERVIEWS FOR TRI-VALLEY COMMUNITY TELEVISION CORPORATION BOARD <br /> Mayor Brandes and members of the City Council met at 6:30 p.m. to inter- <br /> view the following persons for consideration as a member on the Tri-Valley <br /> Community Television Corporation Board: <br /> <br /> DeWitt Ault <br /> Samuel P. Cochrane <br /> Lydia Lo <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Frank C. Brandes, Jr., called the Regular Meeting of the City coun- <br /> cil to order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />RoL, CAL, <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as fol- <br /> lows: Councilmember Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes were present. <br /> Councilmember Butler was absent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, <br /> City Attorney, Mr. Elliott, Director of Public Works and Utilities, and Mr. <br /> Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following item be added to the agenda: <br /> <br /> item 13e Requested Clarification of Fire Sprinkler Ordinance <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following item be removed from the agenda: <br /> <br /> item 12b - North Pleas~ton Improvement District No. 3 Resolution of Intent <br /> and Setting of Public Hearing (AD 1986-9) <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker stated that item 9a - UP-86-42, Application of the City of <br />Pleasanton for a conditional use permit to establish a library facility on an <br />approximately 4 acre site located at the northeast corner of the intersection <br />of Bernal Avenue and Old Bernal Avenue, should not have been placed on the <br />agenda, therefore should be removed. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclu- <br />sion of this meeting to discuss pending litigation with the Barbara Ross Case <br />and the Charles Campbell case. <br /> <br />.CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that the fol 1 owl ng items 1 i sted on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br />a.
