217 MINUTES of THE MEETING of - THE CITY COUNCIL October 28, 1986 INTERVIEWS FOR TRI-VALLEY COMMUNITY TELEVISION CORPORATION BOARD Mayor Brandes and members of the City Council met at 6:30 p.m. to inter- view the following persons for consideration as a member on the Tri-Valley Community Television Corporation Board: DeWitt Ault Samuel P. Cochrane Lydia Lo CALL TO ORDER Mayor Frank C. Brandes, Jr., called the Regular Meeting of the City coun- cil to order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. RoL, CAL, Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as fol- lows: Councilmember Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes were present. Councilmember Butler was absent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Elliott, Director of Public Works and Utilities, and Mr. Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development, were present. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Walker requested that the following item be added to the agenda: item 13e Requested Clarification of Fire Sprinkler Ordinance Mr. Walker requested that the following item be removed from the agenda: item 12b - North Pleas~ton Improvement District No. 3 Resolution of Intent and Setting of Public Hearing (AD 1986-9) Mr. Walker stated that item 9a - UP-86-42, Application of the City of Pleasanton for a conditional use permit to establish a library facility on an approximately 4 acre site located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Bernal Avenue and Old Bernal Avenue, should not have been placed on the agenda, therefore should be removed. Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclu- sion of this meeting to discuss pending litigation with the Barbara Ross Case and the Charles Campbell case. .CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that the fol 1 owl ng items 1 i sted on the Consent Calendar be approved: a.
