Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br />_I order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as fol- <br /> lows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer were <br /> present. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Elliott, <br /> Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Swift, Director of Planning and <br /> Community Development, and Mr. Eastment, Police Chief, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following items be added to the agenda: <br /> <br /> item 4y Approval of Heritage Days Parade. <br /> <br /> item 4z Approval of Ballistic United Soccer Club Parade. <br /> <br /> item 4aa- Approval of Heritage Days - AVAC 1OK Run. <br /> <br /> item 5c Reconsideration of Agreement with Kottinger Ranch for Extension of <br /> Bernal Avenue and Removal of Vineyard Avenue Moratorium. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember But- <br /> ler, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended <br /> thereto, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 8-18-87. <br /> <br /> b. Proclaim the Week of October 4, 1987 as Fire Prevention Week. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1331, approval of PUD-87-7, application of Rob- <br /> ert Berkey and Berkey Motors for Planned Unit Development rezoning and <br /> development plan approval for construction of a two building automobile <br /> sales/service facility to be located on an approximately 5.0 acre site, <br /> located at 4350 Rosewood Drive. <br /> <br /> d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1332, approval of PUD-87-11, application of <br /> Brookside Development Company for Planned Unit Development rezoning and <br /> development plan approval for an automobile sales and retail facility to <br /> be located on an approximately 2.6 acre site located on the north side of <br /> Pimlico Drive, approximately 650 feet east of the intersection of Santa <br /> Rita Road and Pimlico Drive. <br /> <br /> e.
