191 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> SEPTEMBER 20, 1988 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the <br />City Council to order at 7:30 p.m., and then led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is <br />recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, <br />Wilson, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. Walker, City Manager, <br />Mr. Beougher, Acting City Attorney, Mr. Swift, Director of <br />Planning and Community Development, Mr. Elliott, Director of <br />Public Works and Utilities, and Mr. Van Gelder, Traffic Engineer, <br />were present. <br /> <br />AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that an item be added to the agenda as <br />follows: <br /> <br />item 12a- Proposed Financing Plan for New City Corporation Yard. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mohr, that the following items listed on the Consent <br />Calendar be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 9-6-88. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim October 15, 1988 as White Cane Safety Day in <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br />c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1381, establishing speed limits on <br /> Stanley Boulevard, Valley Avenue, and Dublin Canyon Road. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1383, approval of PUD-85-8-5M, <br /> application of Callahan Property Company for a major <br /> modification to an approved development plan for Hacienda <br /> Business Park to change the land use regulations from the <br /> Mid-Rise Planning District to the Manufacturing Planning <br /> District on an approximately 7.8 acre site, located on the <br /> west side of Willow Road opposite the intersection of Baker <br /> Drive and Willow Road. <br /> <br />e. Adoption of Resolution No. 88-441, denial of the Claim of <br /> State Farm filed on behalf of their insured Michael Barnes in <br /> the sum of $1,974.48, alleging the automobile accident at <br /> Foothill Boulevard and Dublin Canyon Road was caused because <br /> <br /> <br />
