Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> Members of Girl Scout Troop 849 led the assembly in the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded <br />as follows: Councilmembers Robert E. Butler, Karin Mohr, Dorothy <br />N. Scribner, Ben Tarver, and Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer. Staff <br />members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Steven Bocian, <br />Assistant City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. <br />Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Joseph <br />Elliott, Director of Public Works and Utilities; Dolores Bengtson, <br />Parks and Community Services; and George Withers, Fire Chief. <br /> <br /> $.AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> There were none. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarvet referred to Item 4c - Accept the Water Conservation <br />Report for the month of March 1992, and asked staff to comment. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta explained that staff has recommended that the base <br />year for water conservation should be 1990. For March, there is a <br />33% reduction between 1992 and 1990 but only an 8% between 1991 and <br />1990. <br /> <br /> Robert Cortz, 262 W. Angela, urged Council to continue the <br />voluntary conservation program. He understood that the production <br />well had been completed and asked what the production of that well <br />was in gallons per minute. He also asked what the water quality <br />and hardness of the water was and how that would compare to wells <br />5,6, and 7. <br /> <br />4/7/92 i <br /> <br /> <br />
