MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> July 25, 1996 <br /> <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Ben Tarver called the special meeting of the City Council to order at 7:04 p.m. <br /> Councilmember Dennis led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, Karin Mohr, Thomas P. Pico, <br />Jr. and Mayor Ben Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; <br />Steven Bocian, Assistant City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, <br />Director of Planning and Community Development; and Randall A. Lum, Director of Public <br />Works. <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF 7/9/96 AND 7/15/96 <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti requested a minor amendment to the Minutes of 7/9/96. On page 40, the <br />last paragraph, she requested it to read "Ms. Michelotti had hoped that with the prior motion <br />we would develop . . . and the last sentence to read "She wanted to see other alternatives <br />developed with and without infrastructure costs resulting in fewer units." <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to approve the Minutes of <br />7/9/96, as amended, and 7/15/96. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver indicated he had received many phone calls from people regarding the West <br />Las Positas interchange.
