MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> 1V~-RTING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> January 16, 1996 <br /> <br />1, CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Ben Tarver called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Councilmember Dennis led the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis welcomed the audience and stated she was glad to have been contacted by <br />so may residents regarding their views on the San Francisco project. She also announced that <br />Pleasanton will host the meeting of the Recycling Board in February. The Recycling Board will <br />meet at the Senior Center on February 8th at 7:00 p.m. The Recycling Board is the Board that <br />oversees the expenditures of the surcharge that Alameda County residents voted for to promote <br />recycling. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, Karin Mohr (arrived at <br />7:43 p.m.), Thomas P. Pico, Jr. and Mayor Ben Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah <br />Acosta, City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Dh'e~tor of Planning <br />and Community Development; Randall A. Lure, Director of public Works; Gary Smith, Director <br />of Building Inspection; Steven Bocian, Assistant City Manager; and Dolores Bengtson, Director <br />of Parks and Community Services. <br /> <br />3, AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta stated there is a correction to one of the conditions in Item 4d. lVlr. Swift <br />explained that to allow flexibility, the condition reads that the fence wall along Stoneridge Drive <br />is to be between 30-33 feet from back of curb instead of just 33 feet. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush referred to the dosed session items that were not discussed yesterday due to <br />lack of time and asked for a closed session to discuss the following items: Presley Company's <br />tentative map and Golden Eagle Insurance Company's proposal to settle its claim. <br /> <br />01/16/96 -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
