PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2413 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION <br />OF LEISURE SPORTS, INC. AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-83-11 <br />WHEREAS, Leisure Sports, Inc. has applied for PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-zoning and development plan approval of <br />a major addition to the Amador Valley Athletic Club for <br />an approximately 181,000 sq. ft., 298 room, five story <br />hotel/convention center, additional tennis courts and <br />related facilities on an approximately 16.8 acre site <br />at 7090 Johnson Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is IG (General Industrial) District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended approval of the <br />mitigated negative declaration prepared for case PUD-83-11 <br />after considering, all public testimony and reviewing <br />all pertinent exhibits and recommendtions of the City <br />staff concerning this proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed rezoning <br />and development plan conform to the General Plan of the <br />City of Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the application of Leisure <br />Sports, Inc. for PUD (Planned Unit Development)-zoning <br />and development plan approval of a major addition to <br />the Amador Valley Athletic Club for an approximately <br />181,000 sq. ft., 298 room, five story hotel/convention <br />center, additional tennis courts and related facilities <br />on an approximately 16.8 acre site at 7090 Johnson Drive <br />subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A" attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ON THE 11TH DAY OF JANUARY 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Lindsey and Acting Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Doherty and Chairman Jamieson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: January 11, 1984 <br />
