PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 2257 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF ZONING AND OTHER CHANGES TO THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AS FILED UNDER CASE RZ-82-19 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend Article 2, (Definitions) and 8 ('C' Commercial Districts), Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton with regard to game arcades; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission also reviewed proposed changes to Article II (Pinball Machines), Chapter 2, (Special Permits), Title IV (Health, Safety, Morals and General Welfare) of the Odinance Code of the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of January 12, 1983 the Planning Commission considered all public input and proposed ordinances concerning their request; and WHEREAS, these proposals are exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission believes the proposed changes to be in the best interest of the public. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT ON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of the changes to the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton as described herein as Exhibit "A". Section 2. Recommends to the City Council that they consider changing in its entirety Article II (Pinball Machines), Chapter 2, (Special Permits), Title IV (Health, Safety, Morals and General Welfare) of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton as described herein and attached hereto as Exhibit "B". Section 3. This resolution shall become effecitve immediately upon its passage and adoption.
