PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2266 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />PREPARED FOR MODIFICATION TO CASE PUD-79-13, VALLEY <br />BUSINESS PARK <br />WHEREAS, Valley Business Associates and Sente Associates Seven have <br />applied for a major modification to cases PUD-79-13 and PUD-80-1 <br />pertaining to hours of operation, building setbacks and heights, <br />size of trucks, amount of office building coverage and other <br />possible changes to the zoning and development plan for Valley <br />Business Park, an approximately 70 acre industrial park now under: <br />construction on the south side of Valley Avenue immediately east <br />of the residences on the east side of Kolln Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants amended their request far modification to include <br />several conditions of Ordinance No. 924 relating to case PUD-79-13 <br />only; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 9, 1983 the <br />Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant maps and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning the proposed modifications <br />including the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there may <br />be a significant impact on the environment relating to noise <br />but conditions imposed upon approval would reduce thoseimpacts <br />to an insignificant level. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study, public <br />testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing that <br />there could be a significant adverse impact upon the environment as a <br />result of approving the modifications requested to Ordinance 924 <br />but that conditions imposed on the approval would reduce those <br />impacts to an insignificant level. <br />Section 2. Approves the Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for <br />the modification to case PUD-79-13 (Ordinance No. 924). <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br />passage and adoption. <br />
