PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2267 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON DENYING, WITHOUT PREJUDICE, <br />THE APPLICATION OF VIC LUND FOR PUD APPROVAL <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-83-02 <br />WHEREAS, Robert Connolly and Vic Lund have applied for PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development) zoning and development plan approval for <br />a 12 lot medium density residential project on approximately <br />2.4 acres located behind 306 Neal Street; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 9, 1983, the <br />Planning Commission considered all public testimony, pertinent <br />documents and recommendations of the City Staff concerning <br />this application; and <br />WHEREAS, there was an outcry against this proposal from the surrounding <br />property owners because of density as well as the proximity of <br />the proposal to older,heritage-type single-family residences <br />in the vicinity; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission believes the project to be too dense and <br />had concerns with disturbing the views of the existing residences <br />within the area of the proposed development. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Denies, without prejudice, the application of Robert Connolly <br />and Vic Lund for PUD (Planned Unit Development) zoning and <br />development plan approval for a 12 lot medium density residential <br />project on approximately 2.4 acres located behind 306 Neal Street. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br />passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON <br />THE 9TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson and Chairperson Lindsey <br />NOES: Commissioner Wilson <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: February 9, 1983 <br />- ATTEST: <br />Robert J.
