PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2116 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-81-23, <br />APPLICATION OF THOMAS J. ORLOFF ET AL <br />WHEREAS, Thomas J. Orloff has applied for development plan approval <br />and PUD-High Density Residential zoning which would allow <br />the construction of 150 apartment units and 24 condominium <br />units on a 9.31 acre site located on the south side of <br />Valley Avenue immediately west of Safeway shopping center, <br />north of Amador park and east of the single-family resi- <br />dential lots fronting on Brooktree Way; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is currently zoned "A" (Agricultural) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 28, 1981 the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for case PUD-81-23; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated October 28, 1981 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held October 28, 1981 <br />at which time all public testimony and documents were <br />received and the public was given the opportunity to comment <br />on the environmental impacts of the proposed development <br />plans; and <br />WHEREAS, at their public hearing on October 28, 1981 the Planning <br />Commission recommended another traffic study be done for the <br />proposed development and the proposal be continued for the <br />results of that traffic study; and <br />WHEREAS, this second traffic study was reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds the proposed application <br />(PUD-81-23) would not have any significant adverse effects <br />on the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approves the negative declaration for case PUD-81-23 <br />as prepared. <br />
