PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2117 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-81-23, THE <br />APPLICATION OF THOMAS J. ORLOFF. <br />WHEREAS, Thomas J. Orloff has applied for development plan approval <br />and PUD-High Density Residential zoning which would allow <br />the construction of 150 apartment units and 24 condominium <br />units on a 9.31 acre site located on the south side of Valley <br />Avenue immediately west of Safeway shopping center, north of <br />Amador Park and east of the single-family residential lots <br />fronting on Brooktree Way; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned "A" (Agricultural) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at a duly noticed public hearing on October 28, 1981 the <br />Planning Commission deferred this matter for a traffic <br />study; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of January 13, 1982 the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of the negative declaration prepared for <br />case PUD-81-23; and <br />WHEREAS, a second duly noticed public hearing was held on January 13, <br />1982 at which time public testimony and documents were <br />considered. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that the Planned Unit Development zoning is <br />consistent with the General Plan. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval of case PUD-81-23, application of <br />Thomas J. Orloff for property as described above subject to <br />the conditions shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made <br />part hereof by reference by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairperson Getty <br />NOES: Commissioner Jamieson <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Section 3. Recommends that as an additional condition of approval, the <br />following be added as condition number 35 by the following <br />vote: <br />/// <br />
