PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2138 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE RZ-82-2. <br />WHEREAS, as a result of a recent zoning application (RZ-81-25), <br />the City of Pleasanton Planning Commission initiated an <br />application to rezone two parcels totalling approximately <br />1 acre at 1550 and 1588 Rose Avenue (Lane) from the "A" <br />(Agricultural) to the R-1-20,000 or R-1-10,000 (Single- <br />Family Residential) District or to any other zoning <br />district consistent with the General Plan for continuity <br />in the area; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 10, 1982, the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for case RZ-82-2; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the Initial Study <br />dated February 2, 1982 and received the recommendations <br />of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on February 10, 1982 <br />for review of the proposed rezoning and negative declaration; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that <br />there would not be any significant impacts upon the environ- <br />ment by approving the rezoning application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the negative declaration for the <br />rezoning of the two parcels totalling approximately 1 acre <br />at 1550 and 1588 Rose Avenue (Lane) from the "A" (Agricultural) <br />District to the R-1-20,000 or R-1-10,000 (Single-Family <br />Residential) District. <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the review <br />of the Initial Study and the testimony and documentary <br />evidence presented at the public hearing that there will <br />be no significant adverse impacts on the environment <br />as a result of the rezoning of the subject property. <br />
