• PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2141 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING THE APPROVAL OF A GENERAL <br />PLAN AMENDMENT FILED BY DEVCON DEVELOPMENT, INC. <br />UNDER APPLICATION GP-82-2. <br />WHEREAS, the Roman Catholic Bishop of Oakland and Devcon Development, <br />Inc., have applied to amend the General Plan designation of <br />an approximately 3.9 acre parcel of land located on the <br />east side of Santa Rita Road approximately 250 ft. north <br />of its intersection with the tracks of the Southern Pacific <br />Transportation Company from Medium Density Residential to <br />General and Limited Industrial; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on February 10, 1982 <br />at which time the public was afforded the opportunity to <br />comment on the application to change the General Plan land use <br />designation as well as to comment on the negative declaration; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at this duly noticed public hearing the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of a mitigated negative declaration for <br />this project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of case GP-82-2 to change the land <br />use designation of an approximately 3.9 acre parcel of <br />land located on the east side of Santa Rita Road approxi- <br />mately 250 ft. north of its intersection with the tracks of <br />the Southern Pacific Transportation Company from Medium <br />Density Residential to General and Limited Industrial <br />subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A", attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2.
