PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2605 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE RZ-85-1, <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the study made by the Advisory Committee <br />on Downtown Residential zoning changes, the Planning <br />Commission initiated a General Plan and zoning change <br />for the approximately 3 acre Villa Armando property <br />(including Scotto residence) located on the north side <br />of St. John Street immediately east of the Western <br />Pacific Railroad right-of-way from the I-G (General <br />Industrial) District to the RM-1500 District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 13, <br />1985 the Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br />negative declaration, and general plan amendment for <br />this same site after considering all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, RM-1500 zoning would conform to the proposed General <br />Plan change for the subject property as recommended. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section <br />1. Recommends that the zoning be changed for the <br />approximately 3 acre Villa Armando property (including <br />Scotto residence) located on the north side of St. John <br />Street immediately east of the Western Pacific Railroad <br />right-of-way from the I-G (General Industrial) District <br />to the RM-1500 District. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
