PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2607 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING <br />DENIAL OF CASE RZ-85-4, APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON REZONING <br />WHEREAS, on January 23, 1985, the Planning Commission, following <br />recommendations made to them by the Advisory Committee <br />on Downtown Residential Zoning changes, initiated <br />several general plan amendments and rezonings of various <br />properties in the downtown area. One of these <br />properties is the site owned by John Deetz located west <br />and north of the intersection of Pleasanton Avenue and <br />St. John Street; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 13, <br />1985 the Planning Commission considered their <br />application to change the zoning designation of an <br />approximately 7.1 acre site located immediately north <br />and west of the intersectionPlanned Unit Street and <br />Pleasanton Avenue from PUD <br />Development)-High Density Residential District to the <br />PUD (Planned Unit Development)-othermzoningtdistrict <br />Residential District or to any <br />consistent with the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, staff expresotentialenumberuofadwellingnunlitshwhichd <br />reduce the p <br />could be built within the City at a time when numerous <br />jobs are being created within the community and the <br />Planning Commission agreed with this concern. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Denies case RZ-85-4, the application of the City of <br />Pleasanton to rezone an approximately 7.1 acre site <br />located immediately north and west of the intersection <br />of St. John Street and P1eaHanh DensityeRes~dentDal <br />(Planned Unit Development)- g <br />District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Medium <br />Density Residential District. <br />Section 2.
