PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2607 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF CASE RZ-85-4, APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON REZONING WHEREAS, on January 23, 1985, the Planning Commission, following recommendations made to them by the Advisory Committee on Downtown Residential Zoning changes, initiated several general plan amendments and rezonings of various properties in the downtown area. One of these properties is the site owned by John Deetz located west and north of the intersection of Pleasanton Avenue and St. John Street; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 13, 1985 the Planning Commission considered their application to change the zoning designation of an approximately 7.1 acre site located immediately north and west of the intersectionPlanned Unit Street and Pleasanton Avenue from PUD Development)-High Density Residential District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-othermzoningtdistrict Residential District or to any consistent with the General Plan; and WHEREAS, staff expresotentialenumberuofadwellingnunlitshwhichd reduce the p could be built within the City at a time when numerous jobs are being created within the community and the Planning Commission agreed with this concern. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Denies case RZ-85-4, the application of the City of Pleasanton to rezone an approximately 7.1 acre site located immediately north and west of the intersection of St. John Street and P1eaHanh DensityeRes~dentDal (Planned Unit Development)- g District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density Residential District.
