PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2608 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE RZ-85-2, APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHEREAS, the Advisory Committee on Downtown Residential Zoning Change has recommended that various land use and zoning changes be made in the downtown area; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission initiated General Plan amendments and rezoning applications to effect the desires of the Advisory Committee; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 13, 1985 the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff concerning these applications as well as the environmental impacts as outlined on the Initial Study r-- prepared by the City Staff; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission concurred with the Initial Study and made the finding that the application to rezone an approximately six acre area composed of all properties located on he north and south sides of St. Mary Street and the north side of Division Street between Peters Avenue and the Western Pacific railroad right-of-way from the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District to the RM-1500 (Multiple-family Residential) District or to any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan would have an insignificant effect on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of the negative declaration prepared for Case RZ-85-2 as herein described. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
