^ PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2611 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE RZ-85-3, <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the Advisory Committee on Downtown Residential Zoning <br />Change has recommended that various land use and zoning <br />changes be made in the downtown area; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission initiated General Plan <br />amendments and rezoning applications to effect the <br />desires of the Advisory Committee; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 13, <br />1985 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning these applications; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br />Negative Declaration prepared for Case RZ-85-3; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the "A" <br />(Agricultural) District is in conformance with the <br />General Plan land use designation for the subject site. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case RZ-85-3, application of <br />the City of Pleasanton to rezone an approximately 25,500 <br />sq. ft. site located at the southwest corner of the <br />intersection of Peters Avenue and Division Street from <br />RM-1500 (Multiple-family Residential) District to the <br />"A" (Agricultural) District. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
