PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2746 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />ORDINANCE CODE REGARDING PATIOS IN THE R-1 ZONING <br />DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of December 11, 1985 the Planning <br />Commission initiated an amendment to the Ordinance Code <br />concerning the setbacks for attached, covered patios in <br />the R-1- Zoning District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of January 8, 1986, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />regarding the City of Pleasanton's application to amend <br />Section 2-5.41(b), Article 3, Chapter 2, Title II of the <br />Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton concerning the <br />required setbacks for covered patios in the R-1 Zoning <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found the proposed ordinance to <br />be appropriate. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case RZ-85-18 which would <br />adopt the attached draft Ordinance and amend Section <br />2-5.41(6), Article 3, Chapter 2, Title II of the <br />Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton to decrease the <br />required setbacks for covered patios in the R-1- Zoning <br />District. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 8TH DAY OF JANUARY 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Innes, Lindsey, Michelotti, Wellman <br />and Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: January 8, 1986 <br />
