PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2746 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON DENYING, WITHOUT PREJUDICE, CASE <br />PUD-80-15-3D, APPLICATION OF MICHAEL MARTINEZ <br />WHEREAS, Michael Martinez has applied for Planned Unit <br />Development plan approval to construct a 62 unit, 29,300 <br />sq. ft. motel and a 9,300 sq. ft. restaurant on an <br />approximately 2.6 acre site located on the north side of <br />Pimlico Drive, approximately 600 feet east of the <br />intersection of Santa Rita Road and Pimlico DRive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Commercial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of January 8, 1986 the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant <br />exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, there was public outcry against the development of a <br />motel on this subject site. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING; <br />Section 1. Denies, without prejudice, Case PUD-80-15-3D, <br />application of Michael Martinez for Planned Unit <br />Development plan approval to construct a 62 unit, 29,300 <br />sq. ft. motel and 9,300 sq. ft. restaurant on an <br />approximately 2.6 acre site located on the north side of <br />Pimlico Drive, approximately 600 feet east of the <br />intersection of Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive <br />because a motel use is in appropriate for the site. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 8TH DAY OF JANUARY 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Innes, Michelotti, and Wellman <br />NOES: Chairman Wilson <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt <br />ABSTAIN: Commissioner Lindsey <br />DATE: January 8, 1986 <br />
