PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2757 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-85-8, PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br />ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL OF HACIENDA <br />BUSINESS PARK PHASE II <br />WHEREAS, Prudential insurance Co. has applied to amend the Land <br />Use, Circulation, and Growth Management Elements of the <br />General Plan relative to a proposed business park <br />development to be located on an approximately 260 acre <br />site, located generally in the area bounded by <br />Interstate 580 on the north, Tassajara Creek on the <br />east, the railroad tracks of the Southern Pacific <br />Transportation Company and Hacienda Business Park on the <br />south, and Chabot Drive on the west; and <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Co. has applied for rezoning from <br />IG (General Industrial) to PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Industrial/Commercial and Offices District, <br />development plan, and development agreement approval for <br />a business park complex consisting of approximately <br />4,430,000 square feet of industrial, office, and <br />commercial uses to be located on an approximately 260 <br />acre site, located generally in the area bounded by <br />Interstate 580 on the north, Tassajara Creek on the <br />east, the railroad tracks of the Southern Pacific <br />Transportation Company and Hacienda Business Park on the <br />south, and Chabot Drive on the west. Zoning for the <br />properties is IG (General Industrial) District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission certified the EIR prepared for <br />these applications after considering all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations <br />concerning these applications at their duly noticed <br />public hearing of February 12, 1986 and recommended <br />approval of the General Plan change; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made all of the findings <br />contained in the "Environmental Impact Findings", <br />including overriding considerations as contained in the <br />exhibit attached hereto; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commisson found <br />Development zoning proposed <br />General Plan of the City of <br />the Planned Unit <br />to be consistent with the <br />Pleasanton. <br />- 1 - <br />
