PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATEMENT CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2759 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA FOR DESIGN <br />APPROVAL FOR A TEN-STRUCTURE OFFICE COMPLEX ON 61 ACRES <br />LOCATED IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY ROSEWOOD DRIVE ON THE <br />WEST AND NORTH, TASSAJARA CREEK ON THE EAST, AND OWENS <br />DRIVE ON THE SOUTH (PUD-85-8-1D) <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied for <br />design approval for a ten-structure, approximately <br />1,029,250 square foot office complex to be located on an <br />approximately 61 acre site located in the area bounded <br />by Rosewood Drive on the west and north, Tassajara Creek <br />on the east, and Owens Drive on the south; and <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the <br />development plan of the subject site (PUD-85-8) <br />including the typical architectural and site designs for <br />individual lots, and there are no changed circumstances <br />or new information requiring additional environmental <br />review; therefore, this application does not constitute <br />a new project under CEQA and no new environmental <br />documents accompany this application; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on February 12, 1986 and <br />testimony taken concerning the proposed project <br />including this design, cumulative impact, consistency <br />with PUD-85-8 and the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found that the project is <br />consistent with PUD-85-8 as well as the City's General <br />Plan; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the application of Prudential <br />Insurance Company for design approval for a <br />ten-structure, approximately 1,029,250 square foot <br />office complex to be located on an approximately 61 acre <br />site located in the area bounded by Rosewood Drive on <br />the west and north, Tassajara Creek on the east, and <br />Owens Drive on the south (PUD-85-8-1D), subject to the <br />conditions listed in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by this reference. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
