PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 2761 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-86-2 FOR REID/MYERS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION WHEREAS, Reid/Myers Development Corporation has applied for rezoning from CS (Commercial Service) District to PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Commercial District and development plan approval for an 800 unit, two-structure, three-story mini-storage facility on an approximately 1.3 acre site located at 3722 Old Santa Rita Road; and WHEREAS, at their meeting of February 19, 1986 the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case PUD-86-2; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated February 6, 1986 and received the recommendation of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on February 19, 1986 and the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports, and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there would not be any significant impacts upon the environment by approving the application and recommended adoption of the Negative Declaration prepared for this case. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study and the testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there will be no significant adverse impacts on the environment as a result of approval of the subject application. Section 2. Recommends approval of the negative declaration prepared for Case PUD-86-2, as herein described. - 1 -
