IN THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEtSANTON, COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton created and appointed a <br />Planning Commission on May 9, 1955, as the city's advisory agency, <br />and to look forward towards planning the land use of the surrounding <br />unincorporated area; and <br />WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />has not had an opportunity to thoroughly study these matters, and <br />desires further time to acquaint themselves with the problems of <br />both the incorporated and unincorporated area; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: <br />1. That this Planning Commission does recommend to the <br />Board of Supervisors of Alameda County that the unincorporated area <br />of Pleasanton Township be precisely zoned agricultural. <br />2. That such action be taken to protect agricultural lands <br />from detrimental development while further studies are made by both <br />the City and the County Planning Commission. <br />3.
