, <br />PLAiQivli~:3 CG]~i IISSTCiiv OF 'tHE CITY OF :'i_S1.vSluYTUN <br />COUNTY OF e+Leu~~;DA, STATE iiF CiiLI1+~12NIA <br />itESGLUi^TGN # `' <br />WHEREAS, it is considered to the interest of the uublic welfare to <br />proceed with the zoning of the territory annexed to the City since <br />February 1, 1954; and <br />l~iEitF;AS, the existing zoninr, ordi~iance of the City of Pleasanton <br />adopted by the City of Pleasanton February 1, 1954, as a.aended, <br />provides for multiple dwellings and certain home occupations; and <br />tJI~REAS, the City of Pleasanton is in the process of ado»ting a <br />master plan and revising its zoning ordinance; <br />NOW, THE'.EFOR1:, Ti{E 'LA:~NING CO~c~ffSSTON OF T'3;s CITY Ot+ PLr;ASAlv'I'ON <br />'DOES HEREHY RESOLVE AND RN;CO}MEND TO TFL"': CTTY CGUiQCIL AS FOLLOWS: <br />1) The folloti~ing described property, as designated on Zone <br />Map dated Seutember 2O, 1956, attached hereto, be included <br />in Zone 3 (business and commercial) pursuant to Ordinance <br />No. 228: <br />That property northerly of Arroyo Del Valle, <br />easterly of Santa Rita Road and southerly of <br />the Western Pacific Railroad tracks. <br />2) As an interim measure, pending adoption of a revised zoning <br />ordinance, the following described property be zoned for <br />residential use, subject to the following restrictions, <br />and employed solely in the following uses: <br />1) Single family residential dwellings. <br />2) No home occupations permitted. <br />Said property is all of that described this date lying <br />northerly of the Western Pacific Railroad tracks, <br />easterly of Santa Rita Road and West of Henry J, Kaiser <br />Company. <br />3) The application of Roy N. Jensen and Elred Chance for <br />zoning of a portion of the said area for professional <br />office use shall be further studied, the recommendations <br />of Harold F.
