IN THB PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAM®A, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 19 WHEREAS the agenda for Planning Commission meetings is not closed prior to the meetings of the Commission, and WHEREAS the consideration items received after the prepared agenda is distributed gives neither the public nor the Commissioners advance notice that some matters are to be considered, and frequently does not permit sufficient time for staff study and report, and WHEREAS the Planning Commission holds one regular meeting per month causing delay in the processing of matters requiring Commission consideration and WHEREAS monthly meetings result in the crowding of the agenda with appli- cations for variances and permits, having too little time for the of community planning functions, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the agenda for the meetings of the Planning Commission shall be closed at five o-cloek P.M. on Friday proceeding the meetings of the Planning Commission, and matters presented for the consi- deration of the Commission after that hour shall be held over to the next regular meeting of the Commission, provided however that matters presented to the Commission from the floor may be considered upon the vote of a majority of the Planning Commissioners ar four affirmative votes. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that beginning on January 1, 1958 the Planning Commission shall hold two (2) regular meetings per month on the first and Thursdays of each month. The foregoing was introduced at a regular meeting of the Pleasanton Planning Commission on November 22, 1957 by Commissioner Hanifen who moved its adoption, which motion was seconded by Commissioner Wharton sad adopted by the fnllnvinn vnf s.
