M. <br />Plo Ce; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />ROLL CALL <br />REVISIONS AND <br />OMISSIONS TO THE <br />AGENDA <br />REFERRALS FROM PARKS <br />AND RECREATION <br />COMMISSION <br />ICoromissioners Present: McLain, Pereira and <br />!Chairman Pons. <br />'Commissioners Absent: Garrigan and Wood. <br />'The Chairman then asked the audience to <br />join the Commission in the Pledge of Alle- <br />gia nce to the Flag. <br />I <br />',Commissioner Pereira requested that Item 12a~ <br />and Item 12b be reviewed by the Commission <br />first. <br />Youth Sports Park Master Plan Amendments - Resolution: <br />presentation by Al Dutchover, Public Works Seconded: <br />Department. ~ Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Mr. Dutchover advised the Commission that at; Absent: <br />the February meeting, the Parks & Recreation Abstain: <br />Commission had reviewed this item and adopte <br />the amendments. <br />He described the changes involved. <br />The Commissioners .felt the proposed amend- <br />ments were acceptable, except for one area, { <br />which concerned the night-lighted softball <br />fields. They felt these were in too close <br />proximity to the existing single family <br />developments on Blackbird Way. Commissioner <br />Pereira suggested that the softball fields <br />be moved easterly to the proposed location j <br />of the Little League fields. Mr. Dutchover <br />stated it was necessary to keep the Little <br />League fields close to the larger parking <br />lot located toward the center of the park; <br />also, it was the City's thought to keep the ', <br />junior sports together. j <br />Commissioner McLain suggested that a dupli- <br />cate of the sports park plan be placed in <br />the developer's sales office in order that <br />future home buyers are made aware of the <br />
