In order to <br />accomplish this, several utility ~, <br />poles will need to be relocated <br />and it would be advantageous to the ~~ <br />City to acquire an easement for ~ <br />their relocation rather than allow ~I <br />P. G. & E. to acquire the easement, <br />since these poles will need once ~'~ <br />again to be relocated when Foothill <br />Road is widened. ': <br />Determination of compliance with the esolution: <br />General Plan for a proposed easement econded: <br />acquisition on the east side of `yes: <br />Foothill Road immediately north of oes• <br />Stoneridge Drive. sent: <br />stain: <br />He referred to Government Code Sec- <br />tion b5402(a) which states that con- <br />formity with said adopted general <br />plan or part thereof must be made in <br />order to facilitate the acquisition <br />by dedication or otherwise of streets <br />squares, parks or other public pur- <br />poses... <br />Accordingly, the Commission concurred <br />with this position and adopted a <br />resolution finding that the proposed <br />easement acquisition on the east side <br />of Foothill Road immediately north <br />of Stoneridge Drive, would be in <br />conformance with the General Plan. <br />X' <br />X <br />
