MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />October 11, 1979 <br />Thursday, 7:30 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman Ken Leppert at 9:20 P.M. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: <br />Commissioners Absent: <br />Staff Present: <br />Council Members Present: <br />Joyce Getty, Bill Jamieson and Acting <br />Chairman Geppert <br />Gregg Doherty and DeWitt Wilson <br />Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development and Shirley McDougall, <br />Recording Secretary <br />None <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />There were no minutes submitted for approval. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION <br />No one ad ressed the Commission. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris suggested that if GP-79-8, Harris Realty Company's General Plan <br />Amendment application was going to be considered that the Downtown Study <br />be considered first inasmuch as this study directly relates to this pro- <br />posal. <br />Concerning this same issue, Commissioner Getty stated that since so much <br />effort and preparation went into the Downtown Study, she felt a full <br />Planning Commission should be present to consider the matter. <br />After discussion between the Commissioners and Mr. Harris, Harris Realty <br />Company, the public hearing was opened and the Commission voted to con- <br />tinue these items to Thursday, October 25, 1979, 7:30 P.M. at the <br />Conference Room of the City Hall, 200 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton. An <br />alternate date of November 1, 1979 was considered in the event it was <br />later determined the Commission could not meet on October 25, 1979. <br />The clerk was directed to receive a list of names and telephone numbers <br />so that she could advise interested persons by telephone of the confirmed <br />meeting date. <br />As there was no further business, this meeting was adjourned at 9:30 P.M. <br />Robert J. ris, Secretary <br />
