CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-08 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR CASE RZ-89-19, THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY <br />OF PT~ASANTON TO PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 48.4 <br />ACRE SITE LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF FOOTHILL <br />ROAD, OPPOSITE OAK CREEK DRIVE, TO THE PUD <br />(PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) - LOW/RURAL DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (33 ACRES), AND THE "A" <br />(AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT (15 ACRES) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of January 2, 1990, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for RZ-89-19 to <br />prezone an approximately 48.4 acre site located on the <br />west side of Foothill road, opposite Oak Creek Drive, to <br />the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Low/Rural Density <br />Residential District (33 acres), and the "A" <br />(Agricultural) District (15 acres); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated December 6, 1989 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held January 2, 1990 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposal would not have <br />any significant adverse effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Case RZ-89-19 to <br /> prezone an approximately 48.4 acre site located on the <br /> west side of Foothill Road, opposite Oak Creek Drive, to <br /> the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Low/Rural Density <br /> District (33 acres), and the "A" (Agricultural) District <br /> (15 acres). <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
