PLANNING COMMISSION OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-25 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL A GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-89-1, APPLICATION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the <br />Circulation Element of the General Plan by realigning <br />Vineyard Avenue at its intersection with Clara Lane to a <br />straighter configuration; and <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br />declaration was recommended for adoption by the Planning <br />Commission on March 8, 1989; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that this General Plan <br />amendment is consistent with the General Plan policies <br />of the City of Pleasanton. <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends that the City Council amend the <br />Circulation Element and adopt the General Plan alignment <br />depicted on Exhibit "A", Alternative #1, with the north- <br />south portion of the roadway along the Allec property <br />being vacated, leaving the option to Mr. Allec as to <br />how he would like to use the road in the future (the <br />north side of the road not to take the Allec property). <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton on 8th day of March 1989 by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Hovingh, Hoyt, Mahern, and Chairman <br />Michelotti <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Berger <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />l C" <br />~G <br />~Yarrell Miche otti, Chairman <br /> <br />
