PC-89-10 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR JOHN <br />SKAGGS/CASTLEWOOD PROPERTIES <br />WHEREAS, John Skaggs for Castlewood Properties wacontractorfor a <br />blanket conditional use permit to allo <br />storage and ancillary office uses in a commercial <br />service building located at 73 Ray Street; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is CS (Commercial Service) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearingderedFallupublic <br />1989, the Planning Commission consi <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application, an <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following findings: <br />A, That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />is in accordance with the objectives trictein°which <br />ordinance and the purposes of the dis <br />the site is located. <br />As conditioned, allowing contractor uses at the <br />project location is in conformance withuseetheneral <br />objectives of the zoning ordinance beca <br />building and site plan will accommCeaandthis type <br />of use without upsetting the balan <br />It would <br />compatibility of surrounding land uses• ur oses of <br />also be in accordance with the special p p <br />' district in that it <br />the CS (Commercial Service) <br />provides a site for commercial uses that are <br />incompatible within other commercial districts. <br />B, That the proposed location of the wo ldtbenoperated <br />_ and the conditions under which 1 <br />or maintained will not be detrimental to tin'urious <br />health, safety and welfare, or materially 7 <br />to the properties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />As conditioned, the project will not be detrimental <br />to properties or improvements in the vicinity.
