PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASAN TON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2006-OS <br />RESOLLTION APPROVING THL' APPLICATION OF CRAIG MIF_RS, STL7DI0 SMS, <br />FOR DESIGN REV7EW APPROVAL, AS FILED i_7ND1-3R CASL-S PUD-81-30-85[~-1M. <br />WHEREAS, C7raig Miers, Studio SMS, has applied for design review approval to construct a <br />two-story, 24,600-square-foot office building with 82 surface parking spaces on a <br />l .37-acre vacant site located at 4733 Chabot Drive <Lot SG of Hacienda Business <br />Park; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-I/C/O (Planned Unit Devclopm ent ~- <br />Industrial/C7omrnerci al/Office) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of Ja»uary 25, 2006, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff co ncerniag this application; and <br />WHEREAS, an environmental review for the proposed project was undertaken with the <br />Enviror~rrLental Impact Report (EIRE for the Hacienda Business Park, certified. by <br />the City Council on June 8, 1 982, in conformance with the standards of the <br />California 1-~nvirorimental Quality Ac,i (C'EQ A), and there arc no substantial <br />changes to the project or to the circumstances under which the project is being <br />undertaken that involve new significant envirommental effects or that substantially <br />increase the severity of previously identified effects; furihcrn~orc, there is no new <br />information of substantial importance which was unknown at the tiirie the ETR <br />was certified regarding the project or its effects, mitigation measures, or <br />alternatives, and any previously identified effects or impacts are mitigated to a <br />level of insignificance with the mitigation measures incorporated into the <br />project's design or imposed pursuant to the conditions of approval; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning C:om mission determined that the proposed project is consistent with <br />the appearance of the existing buildings in the area- <br />NOW., "f I3ER1?FORL~, THIS PLA NNIN C3 C7UMMISS7ON C_)1-~ THE CITY OF PLI-;ASAN TON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLU WING: <br />Section ] Approves Case PUD-81-30-85D-1 M, the application of Craig Micrs, Studio SMS, <br />for design review approval to construct atwo-story, 24,600-square-foot office <br />building with 82 surface parking spaces on a ] .37-acre vacant site located at <br />4733 Chabot Drive (Lot SG of Hacienda Business Park), subject to the conditions <br />shown in Exhibit B, attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />
