CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 91-23 RESOLUTION APPROVING FOOTHILL ROADALIGNMENT - STONERIDGE DRIVE TO BERNAL AVENUE WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 19, 1991, the City Council reviewed the report of the Director of Planning and Community Development (SR 91:52) regarding the studies on the proposed alignment of Foothill Road between Stoneridge Drive and Bernal Avenue; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time interested parties were given an opportunity to present testimony and documents regarding the proposed alignment; and WHEREAS, the proposed alignment conforms to the Circulation Element of the General Plan with regard to goals and policies relevant to the design of Foothill Road; and WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the General Plan which covered the Foothill Road lane configuration and general alignment and no additional environmental review is necessary at this time; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council adopts the alignment and cross- sections of Foothill Road as follows: (a) the alignment and cross-sections as shown on the attached cross-section exhibit and alignment plan as follows: (1) Stoneridge Drive to Muirwood Drive North: right-of-way - General Plan Option four- lane alignment/section cross-section - Interim Option A (three- lanes, permanent median location) (.2) Muirwood Drive North to Highland Oaks Drive: right-of-way - General Plan Option four- lane alignment/section cross-section - transition from Interim Option A (three-lanes) to interim two-lanes (no median) at Kliment property, then transition back to Interim Option A (three-lanes)
