91094197 <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 91-05 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION VACATING PORTIONS OF BERNAL AVENUE, <br /> DEL VAT.T.R PARKWAY, STANLEY BOULEVARD, AND UTAH <br /> STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on January 8, 1991, the City Council received -a staff <br /> report recommending a vacation of portions of Bernal <br /> Avenue, Del Valle Parkway, Stanley Boulevard and utah <br /> street, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" <br /> attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br /> herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the vacated portions of Bernal Avenue, Del Valle Parkway, <br /> Stanley Boulevard and Utah Street are no longer needed <br /> for present or future street use due to relocation of <br /> said streets; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, access will not be cut off to any person's property <br /> which, prior to relocation, adjoined the street vacated; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, no public service easements shall be terminated as a <br /> result of the proposed vacation. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Pursuant to Chapter 4, Streets and Highway Code, and <br /> based upon the findings stated above establishing the <br /> relocation of portions of Bernal Avenue, Del Valle <br /> Parkway, Stanley Boulevard and Utah Street in the manner <br /> meeting the requirements of Section 8335 of the Streets <br /> and Highway Code, that portion of Bernal Avenue, Del <br /> Valle Parkway, Stanley Boulevard and Utah Street <br /> described in Exhibit "A" is hereby vacated. <br /> <br />Section 2: That from and after the date this resolution is <br /> recorded, the vacated portions of Bernal Avenue, Del <br /> Valle Parkway, Stanley Boulevard and Utah Street <br /> described in Exhibit "A" are no longer needed for street <br /> use. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this <br /> resolution of vacation to be recorded in the office of <br /> the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br /> <br />
