CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-19 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING POLICY FOR ALT~CATING <br /> FUNDS AND FACILITIES TO HUMAN <br /> SERVICE/COMITY SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton would like a process that assures <br /> that the needs of all nonprofit community agencies have <br /> been considered prior to allocating City funds and a <br /> uniform reporting procedure established for all agencies <br /> receiving funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 2, 1993, the City Council <br /> received and reviewed the report of the Director of Parks <br /> and Community Services (SR 93:30) regarding the approval <br /> of a policy for allocating funds or resources to human <br /> service agencies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the recommendations of the Human <br /> Services Commission. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTONRESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby approves the policy for <br /> allocating funds and facilities to human <br /> service/community service organizations as set forth on <br /> Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Directs staff to work with the Human Services <br /> Commission to establish an annual process for application <br /> review and monitoring of funding for nonprofit agencies <br /> to be implemented prior to the adoption of the 1993-94 <br /> operating budget. <br /> <br />Section 3: Directs staff to work with the Human Services <br /> CommissiOn to establish and implement reporting and <br /> monitoring procedures for any award of funding for <br /> nonprofit agencies in the 1992-93 fiscal years. <br /> <br />Section 4: Directs staff to work with all lessees of City <br /> facilities to comply with the policies adopted for <br /> leasing City facilities. <br /> <br /> <br />
