CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-07 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS <br /> AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR A BIKE PATH ALONG <br /> ARROYO DE LA LAGUNA AND ACCEPTANCE OF <br /> METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION (MTC) <br /> TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT (TDA) ARTICLE 3 <br /> MONIES TO FUND THE PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 16, 1992, staff prepared a bicycle project to <br /> present to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission <br /> (MTC) for consideration to obtain Transportation <br /> Development Act (TDA) funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the MTC TDA Article 3 funding requires the agency <br /> applying for monies to obtain approval from the City <br /> Council in order to be eligible to receive funding. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes and approves the preparation of plans and <br /> specifications for a bike path along the Arroyo de la <br /> Laguna. <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves the acceptance of Metropolitan Transportation <br /> Commission (MTC) Transportation Development Act (TDA) <br /> Article 3 monies to fund the project. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 19, 1993 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM- <br /> <br />Michael H.
