CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-25 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING INVESTMENT POLICIES AND <br /> GUIDELINES OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 7, 1998, the Director of Finance presented a report <br /> (SR 98:65), describing the investment policies and guidelines used by the staff of <br /> the City of Pleasanton, as outlined in Section 53600 of the Government Code and <br /> required by AB 1083, Chapter 1226, 1984 Statutes. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby approves the Investment Policies and Guidelines, a copy <br /> of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON APRIL 7, 1998 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> EST: , <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
